
PASSAIC, NEW JERSEY: The fire department calls on a local business to solve a serious problem. A fire in a manufacturing plant contaminated their turnout gear with powered chlorine bleach. The fire department, using resources in its own city, calls upon local businessman David Kornhauser the owner of Trilex to identify the best way to clean the gear and return it back to service. After cleaning the gear, David said, "I could do this all day!” 10 years later, Trilex cleaners is now the preferred cleaner for the FDNY as well as so many other large fire departments across the nation.
